"Peggy Noonan on Nov. 4, also in Opinion Journal, went wild over the whole idea. After affirming that “the biggest loser was the mainstream media,” she added that conservative bloggers had slain the dragon: “It was to me a great historical development in the history of politics in America. It was Agincourt. It was the yeomen of King Harry taking down the French aristocracy with new technology and rough guts. God bless the pajama-clad yeomen of America."

I'm a johnny some lately to blogging, so my comments are for those that have come before me in this battle.

Thank you bloggers one and all, and may you always eschew the capitalization of "bloggers" for all time......we need to stay humble.

Words of wisdom from the chairman of the NYU Journalism Department, of all people.

God bless the pajama-clad yeomen of America

At last an answer to the riddle of what to do with
freedom of the press when the press is corrupt.

Our top 3 goals for 2004 were:

1. Win the Presidential election
2. Burn the fatcat Democratic political donors
3. Discredit the mainstream news media

We're 3 for 3.

Legacy media was already in decline, especially print
pubications, and they've been covering it up by
inflating their subscriber counts. Expect more scandals.

Their overtly biased behavior cost them whatever
subscribers hadn't previously cancelled or just failed to
renew. The remaining advertisers will soon figure out
which way the wind is blowing, and accelerate the decline.

Legacy media placed a big bet. They thought they had to,
because only a liberal regime would have any chance of
writing laws to restore the former status quo: regulate
the internet, sabotage talk radio with "equal time" rules,
sabotage Fox with "bill of attainder" ownership rules, etc.

"No, not the Democrats, but the real losers in this election -- the Old Media, still angry that they couldn't deliver their fifteen percent."

I believe the media did deliver their 15%... but they needed 18%.

4. Increase majority in the Senate, especially at the expense of Daschle.

Four for four!

Fox News ask in a poll what were the reasons people voted the way they did and something like 35% said media bias was the main reason. That should be a wake up call to the MSM but it probaly won't be.

Most of the liberals I know are dumb because they read and trust the MSM. I said this to one of them after she told me she was "well informed". As you can imagine, she blew her stack.

I just adore Peggy Noonan!

Peggy Noonan on Nov. 4, also in Opinion Journal, went wild over the whole idea. After affirming that “the biggest loser was the mainstream media,” she added that

conservative bloggers had slain the dragon:

“It was to me a great historical development in the history of politics in America. It was Agincourt. It was the yeomen of King Harry taking down the French aristocracy with new technology and rough guts. God bless the pajama-clad yeomen of America.”

Sweet investment.

Sorry about Minnesota.

Rosen said, "I think the particular discourse of media bias is one that has become dysfunctional. I've said at my Web log that the more you believe it, the dumber you get."

Just the opposite Mr. Rosen. The more you are aware of the leftwing media's bias the smarter you get when reading their news pages or watching their news broadcasts.

After a comment like that don't expect to get hired at Fox.

And the media death pace is just going to ACCELERATE!!! I have set up the Anti-DNC web portal at:

http://www.noDNC.com

And in the process, helped DrDave get turned onto the idea of the same software here:

www.exposeliberalism.com

And am in talks with 3 other groups to get theirs going! We are trying to work FREE to get conservative NEWS oriented sites set up all over the web with solid and compelling content to counter the Main Stream Media even faster!

My news peice is pretty well done for now (just some more formatting)

http://www.noDNC.com

And I'm starting to add weather, and then sports after that. The goal is that within 6 months I will be GIVING AWAY this completely tuned, tested, and developed portal to lots of existing conservative Commentary sites. Then we will be cross-linking content through ALREADY BUILT-IN NEWS FEEDS, and we will be sharing conservative content all over the web.

The NEXT revolution is beginning :) And I'm thrilled to be part of it :)
