I don't know what you're talking about.

Of course people of faith played a part, and many of them were putting social issues first in that decision. Many of them were also putting national security and the WOT efforts first. Many of them were also seeing this President attempt to restore the economy and keep the government from picking their pockets as much. But for most, it was all of the above....the total picture.

Contrary to what you may think, most people of faith aren't single issue voters. Those that are had long-since decided that Bush isn't a "real" conservative, and went the way of single-digit candidates.

No, the article isn't full and complete as to the story, but it's one of the better ones in terms of myth-busting.

Contrary to what you may think, the mere 'single issues', as you derisively term them, go to some of the worst crimes committed by humanity against Christ the King. It's important to those who fear and love Our Lord. The Faith matters to them, if not to others. A Protestant faith of sorts mattered to our founders. It was important to THEM. It was even foundational.
