if Kerry conceded why does it matter? that pretty much sums all of this up...even if by some miracle Kerry could take 3/4 of the provisional vote he still can't win...so who cares?
i have to say that this was my first election and it was cool to see it come to the wire in my state (okay w lost my county) but it definitely made me fell like my vote counted!

The concession is a tradition in electoral politics, but it has no legal weight. If by some miracle the 'rats were able to overturn some state and give Kerry 270 electoral votes, he would win regardless of having conceded.
Not to worry though. Ain't gonna happen.
