I think that's Jenna on the left.
That's Jenna Welch on the far right, the other grandmotherly namesake.
I hope none of these are duplicates - I've scrolled up and down this thread countless times trying to prevent that. :-)

This photo:
It was included in the "Newsweek" magazine's behind the scenes election coverage. This photo enlarged included the whole family on election night. It also showed Jenna sitting with a young man, and with a diamond on her left ring finger!

I remember that picture! I think it was said (true or not) that it was one of the cousins. The Bush family does a lot to protect the privacy of the girls

Thanks Ride. I don't know if there were duplicates or not & if there are ... great, it means it is a good shot.
I somehow posted the same pix in my "stuff" in two instances. And there are two that were omitted. I think you & Texasflower covered the loss in wonderful fashion.
Thank you for you additions.

I did not see the ring, but if she was wearing one on that hand, it is just something she likes to do. Some girls do it to discourage "fresh" guys from coming on to them, or they do it to be "mysterious". In several interiews during the campaign, Laura was asked if either girl had a "serious boyfriend", and she always said "No".

adding your ATRW comment to the twins thread, Peach/dolly
First daughter Jenna Bush, who put her career plans on hold while campaigning to reelect her father, has decided to live in Washington and plans to teach at a District public school that serves low-income children. The White House would not release details yesterday, but we've learned that she has applied to teach at Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School in the Mount Pleasant/Columbia Heights neighborhood.

it's enough to make a guy wish he was *almost* 20 years younger.
and rich.
and born into the right family.
and on his way to Yale.
and good looking.
