The Left refuses to see minorities as individuals. They are not allowed to think outside the parameters that have been set for them. They are seen as stupid people unable to succeed without the assistance of the socialist state.
They don't see anyone as individuals. They can't, if they did, there couldn't be "minorities."
It is called projection. When Clinton picked his cabinet, he was lightly chided for not being diverse enough. He called his critics 'beancounters'. Right before the election, Kerry revealed his diversically challenged cabinet to little or no criticism. I am from the South, and the only party that ever practiced overt racism, jim crow, separate but equal, etc, has been democrats. The Republicans are and have always been the ones to see all people as equals. Blacks can only be sure of high level appointments in a democrat administration, if there was a department of 'minority studies'--then ONLY a black would be appointed. They compartmentalize blacks and see them as only qualified to provide input on "black issues".
