Zero tolerance... that policy requires that everyone knows what's being taught in their own local school. Then fighting it or opting out. In this case it sounds like most parents don't care or don't see the video as grave threat...
-it may be that most don't care -then again most might have not beem aware of the actual content. Regardless, it would appear that the aclu does not want to give parents the option or 'choice' in the matter...
But apparently the parents of 250 students do, and if 250 students leave the district's schools, that could be a real problem for the schools. 324 students didn't show up for school that day -- one-third of students in the district have not seen the video.
Parents just might decide to send their kids to private school or homeschool them. Harlen County, KY, saw a big drain on their public school system when parents pulled their kids for Christian schools and homeschooling. School officials were very upset over that.
