That sounds like a good plan for the future. I've gotten two "unknown caller" calls (I have caller ID) this week, one at 5 AM and one at 2:30 AM. When I pick up the phone, it sounds like a Fax or something similar. I've complained to Bell South, but they won't trace the calls (I also pay for *69) without a court order...!! My phone, their phone company, I pay for caller ID, but I can't get them to tell me who is waking me up...

Do you have a DSL line? Right now, I'm in a rural area that has no DSL, and I have to use a land line.

When we first got DSL we already had two lines coming into the house from when my son lived here and had his own phone line.

We were told that a different line from the one we used for our phone was neccessary for the DSL. The extra phone line we already had was then used for DSL.

When we dropped our land line phone we also dropped DSL and started a cable internet connection but were told by the phone company that we could have kept the DSL even though we no longer had a land line phone.

Having some "issues" about over billing from the phone company we didn't want any kind of service from them.

Somebody propbably misdialed. Do you want wrong numbers to be illegal too? Howzabout we make it a capital offense. That'll stop them.
