I'd expect that there'd be a slight correlation with red states having lower IQs, but only because of demographics (VT is 98% white, etc). If my theory is correct, Hawaii might have the highest IQ because of the large % of Asians. However when you look at the actual demographic breakdowns of voters, I don't see any way how anyone can say that Republican voters aren't smarter than Democrat voters as a whole.
