I did explore Islam, read teh Quran and outlined it, met with many Muslims and observed them in prayer and worship.
I find alot of beauty in Islam, though they err on the nature of Christ and the matter of His death and resurection.
The Islamofascists are perverting Islam and they are indeed horrid monstrosities worthy of the death we should give them if they do not change their violent ways.
But whether I am right about the problem being ISlamitself or not, by extending the olive branch once the sword has done its work, we can mold a new view of Islam, perhaps, though I think this version of ISlam already does exist and is the main stream.
We should nopt forget that the reaction of most Muslims in Muslim countries is due to the propaganda of their totalitarian governments who are the ones who truly hate the Democratic West for obvious reasons. They especially do not want a Democratic Iraq to ever succede.
Why help them in their goals by demonstrating that their claims of Western hatred for them are right?
We hate Islam because it is evil at its core.
It condones death for Jews and Christians, the enslavement of women, the molestation of young boys by imams, the mutilation of girls, death to the victims of rape (not the perpetrator...just the women), the penalty for critical examination or criticism of Islam is death (poor Salman Rushdie), and if a persons decides to leave this religion, the penalty is death.
This is just for starters...
It is a religion that believes that it is acceptable to lie to non-believers, particular if they can be coaxed into believing (sounds like you).
Tell me, which part of the above is acceptable to you?
