This article, this discussion, this forum are all part of the answer. As the consensus grows that Islam is the problem, people will have to face it and do whatever it takes.

Days after 911, I went online, found several searchable Korans and within hours came to the conclusion that the problem is Islam itself. At the time, I was a longtime poster on several email lists. Most discussion had stopped and 911 was the only topic. I posted links to my finds, the searchable Korans. A Mexican national living in Italy was the first to flame me as a stupid, ignorant, bigoted American. Quickly, a leftwing operative joined in. I was defended on list and received a lot of back channel agreements. However, after a few weeks, it was decided by these lists that discussion needed to return to topic and *political* postings were declared OT. I eventually left those lists for a variety of reasons, but the rampant PC was the main reason.

On FR I found articles and discussions and bright people willing to look squarely at the problem. It is now 3+ years later. Slowly, the topic of Islam-as-the-problem is showing up in mainstream sources and on FNC. It is going to take more atrocities in other countries, more examples of the arrogance and cold-bloodedness of Islam, more revelations of the alliances between the Arabs, the EUros, the tranzis, the UN, our own CIA and State Department before the consensus reaches the point we here on FR have reached.

Holland and Sweden are the 2 most liberal, progressive societies on the planet. If they are having the problems we are reading about and seeing on FNC, then it cannot be dismissed as "ignorant bigoted Americans".

I hope the West survives to finally wipe out Islam as it exists today. But I have no illusions: it will take time and I am unsure if we, the West, have time.

The problem is going to be the lying liberals and the lying lawyers who support them. We will never be able to eliminate the problem until we get our minds on their (terrorist) level, be willing to do what they are willing to do.

Militant Islam is inherently "evil" & a virulent form of Fascism. Unfortunately, the left refuses to recognize the concept of "evil" because it is bereft of traditional religion and has become the haven of secular humanism. Those societies that go down the secular path have invited the camel ie. "Islamofascism" into the proverbial tent & will have a devil of a time getting rid of it.We in the U.S. (and the rest of the world whether they realize it or not))are fortunate that Bin Laden has "awakened the sleeping giant" to paraphrase Admiral Yammamoto at the beginning of WWII, and that is why it was paramount to reelect George W. Bush lest the leftists (Democrats) in this country cede our sovereignty to "evil" & those who would do nothing about it.

Great post. The problem is indeed "time", for it will take several generations of education and exposure to Western ideas, including the concepts of Freedom and Capitalism, to overcome their enslavement by mullahs.

I believe we do have the time, and the ability.

Fortunately it's not just the West against Islam, but China, Thailand, the Philippines, Russia and even Malaysia are having trouble with Islamic terrorists and uprisings. Same with India and other nations. If Islam does not somehow miraculously moderate and police itself, it will be the entire world against them.

Exactly right, my friend. The problem is not radical Islam, but Islam itself, because Islam IS radical.

Islam is not a religion, but a sick and twisted political power cult of misogyny, murder, oppression , terror and slavery.

This is no coincidence. "Liberal, progressive societies" are sitting ducks for the Islamic infestations. They have voluntarily suspended critical judgment in favor of a mindless ideology which ultimately leads to self-destruction.

Whether they can retrieve their cultural integrity is an open question. If they are unwilling, for example, to shed blood for their nations, then it is too late-- they are goners.
