What they're "getting" from this woman is the idea that all muslims are the same. There are many sects.(besides nationalities).
She mentions that radicals are the problem. This is why I said yesterday, that we need the help of average muslims. The average muslim needs to fight against the radicals overtaking their religion. And they are speaking out about this. (I refer you again to Dr. Jasser's articles)(and also check out Shavkh Hisham Kabbani, founder of the Islamic Supreme Council of America (ISCA) Kabbani is a sufi, btw.)

"these Muslims were safe until the radical element migrated from the oppressive Middle Eastern countries and began exerting its power over the masses and started menacing the indigenous populations that took Muslims in and welcomed them over the years."

It's the radicals/extremists. It is not all muslims.

I will read the articles you mentioned .

I do understand your point of view. I had a similar one not all that long ago.

However, through my studying I believe there are some major problems with Islam, the biggest one being the Quran.

I'm guessing you dispute that the Quran teaches that all who don't follow Allah are infidels, and all infidels should be killed?

Also, yesterday you implied those that are anti Muslim are bigots. You need to understand our point of view. Since we truly believe it is an evil cult, how do you expect us to embrace it with open arms?

I am not a bigot and I don't hate anyone (although liberals receive my greatest wrath). I, as I'm sure most on this board, just want to know what the truth is and then deal with it. We should be able to disagree, without resorting to name calling.

I thought FR was all about educating people.

So, if we disagree, lets all try to be respectful and try to use persuasion and facts to teach our point of view.

Islam in general is becoming radicalized pretty quickly. The number of "moderates" is declining radically. The core of the religion itself is radical and deadly. It is hard for these moderates to openly or effectively oppose those who promote the religion as it is in the Koran. It makes them feel like heretics and weaklings.
