3. Hell, no one is a match for an ambush unless the ambusher is a really bad shot. If I'm up in a tree, unseen with a .30-06.....nuff said
The SKS never was full auto. It was designed as a semi-automatic rifle from the start.
Anyone who has made one fire full auto has either a badly tempered trigger group (some of the Chinese imports had a problem with this--a potentially dangerous flaw in a few rifles), or has done something to the rifle the designer (Simonov) never intended.
