I do hope that the announcement was about that rare breed of "moderate Muslim" that does
have the substantial courage to speak up.
Despite my pointed comments, I do salute all the Iraqis and Afghanis who are
trying to make a new start with governmental systems that at least approximate democratic rule.
Especially the Iraqi policemen/National Guard/Special Forces, seeing how too
many are being called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice.
