The fastest growing ,by a substantial margin, segment of the U.S. is Hispanic. They are predominantly Catholic leavened with protestantism. The mooslims, ("derka, derka, muhammad, jihad") are going to be well countered by that population. Flame away, but IMHO, Hispanics are overwhelmingly hard workers, family oriented, gentle and brave and do not think it their duty to kill anyone else with a different religious belief.

I have a few European friends with whom I can frankly speak about immigration issues. I always like to make your point with them. Yes, we have millions of illegals here. But at least they're Christian - and strongly so.

Speaking as one who has allowed his anti-illegal immigrant rhetoric get the better of him, I concur totally with that statement. I don't dislike Hispanics, or any immigrant group (other than Muslims), but I want them to be here kegally. It's my only complaint about Hispanics. Other than that, they have a strong work ethic, are largely conservative and are not here to kill us and destroy our country, unlike too many Muslims.

I agree with your thoughts and have expressed them to colleagues: the latino immigration is the only answer to the muslim influx.

In fact, we should stop immigration from muslim countries and facilitate LEGAL immigration from Spanish America.

You have accurately described the differences between the two cultures. (And the European culture in the U.S. is not even replacing itself. In another 50 years we'll be Amerabia if we don't do something soon.)
