Whether this thing works or not it would be great if our enemies think it would work. We've been plenty effective with the grunts and AC-130s we already have.
Maybe those sunglasses the troops have been wearing have been able to see through women's clothes all along after all?

I just wish our troops had the little tennis ball cameras used by the Israelis to scope a room out before they enter it.
To: Tom Bombadil
They do - except it's called a hand grenade. (At least that's how we were taught combat in cities.)

Got that right.
I trust nothing that they write anymore without other verification.

Here, I'll give him a
hand.Probably find addt'l info at the Huachuca website.
Sigh. And to think I probably could've tested this system had I stayed in.

1) Don't post anything from debka LOL - I'll let you know if I see any of these things scurrying around base anytime soon.
We do see the drones. They sound like mopeds overhead. I wish the military would let me play with the controls for just five minutes once.
No chance in hell, though. :-)

Sigh. And to think I probably could've tested this system had I stayed in. That could have been fun. I designed it.
Not what Debka is talking about, but the original in its GBCS configuration.
It was to be one awesome replacement to the TEAMMATE, Trailblazer, Quickfix; TEAMPACK, TACJAM, and TRAFFICJAM systems.

I've worked trailblazer, quickfix, and trafficjam (aka Soviet Nuclear Weapons Homing Beacon.)
They were all a hoot.
Hard to believe those systems are as old as they are.

The PRD-14s are getting fielded soon. You know you're getting old when you say 'I used to hump a PRD-11', and everyone looks at you like 'PRD-11s?!? When was that, in Vietnam?'

You know you're getting old when you consider the PRD-11 the new system.... sheesh.
