According to the current Freep poll, 62% of the folks on FR are "happy" to see Bush replace an American's job with a Mexican. Are you trying to rock the boat or something?

If this post is true then Gonzales it a member of an organization whose aims are racist and anti-American.
At the very least Gonzales should disassociate himself from La Raza ASAP before taking the AG position.
Still, Gonzales would have been vetted throughly before the president nominated him, so why was this missed?

It's been on other websites for a week. I wondered when it was going to hit FR.
"got the backing of a group" does not mean he's a member. As someone else mentioned, LaRaza is probably just piling on so it's not left out of the Hispanic groups that support him.
Perhaps a future Cabinet member can be a member of Alqaida. Wouldn't be surprising to Marcuse.
