It sounds a lot like our upper peninsula of Michigan.

I will add that a hunter was killed in this state about two years ago not far from the site of this recent shooting. He was shot twice in the back and the case was never solved. There does seem to be a potential connection that interests the police.

I just heard tonight that the police say that the guy that they are looking for in the UP shooting drives the same kind of truck that the shooter in the Wisconsin shooting drives.
