True, but not available here in the US. Back when Bush I was President he signed some type of executive order that banned the importation of firearms with certain features that were considered non sporting.

This was separate from the Clinton AW ban which came later. While the Bush ban prevented imports you could still purchase 'non sporting' rifles if they were made in the US with a majority of US parts. We're back at that point today with the sunset of the AW ban.

The rifle in your link is still banned in the US because the Bush import ban is still with us.

Instead we only get the castrated 'sport version' here: http://www.eaacorp.com/firearms/saiga/rifles/saiga100t.shtml

What's the difference you may ask: mostly cosmetic and about 20 yrs in Club Fed .
