I think those poor saps were the landowners. I don't know how it is in Wisconsin, but here in Texas, if you find someone poaching on your land, you don't take it lightly. He was also chasing down and killing people he wounded. Doesn't sound like a lost hunter to me.

If this guy was a newly-converted Islamic, chances are he was out to earn his stripes.

WE DONT take it lightly...

The Hmongs in my area are notorious for violating...and tresspassing...and shooting animals on others lands and in the past even on game farms...

When the cops are called they usually start jabbering on repeating their best defense "no english"..."no english" at which point LEOs are required to bring in the translater (at tax payers expense and usually on overtime to boot)

The entrepreter usually one of their own clan anyway...gives a translation in his and their best interest and they are usually let go anyway...I have yet heard of any of them around me...doing any time in the County lockup for poaching or tresspassing..

In Texas it's probably OK to boldly walk up to someone holding a rifle and demand he leave your property. However, up in Wisconsin you might sometimes run into a psycho who is there to kill you ~ all he's done by climbing into your deer stand is bait you.

You are real lucky that you live in Texas where the chances of meeting a serial killer are virtually nil

(/sarcasm).
