I am certain that the author is lurking here, and this is what I'd like to publicly say:
There IS freedom of the press, and WE are the check and balance of that press. Do you think none of us are professionals? Do you think none of us have critical thinking skills? Do you think we know nothing about the mainstream press? If so, you are wrong.
There is a HUGE market waiting for accurate honest reporting. There is a market for opinions, as well. We bloggers actually know the difference. Educate yourself, young woman, or find another job. Grow up!
I'm willing to bet that the author of this whiney piece will deliberately pick out the least literate posts she can find on this thread, and console herself with them.
