This in no way means that there were every any WMDs or any intent on the part of the benevolent leader Saddam Hussein to manufacture or even use WMDs -- ever.

Get with the program. Bush lied. There was never any capacity to make these. Wrong war, wrong time. We have alienated all our friends around the world, yada yada yada.

Who cares! We are moving forward not backwards. WMD's wouldn't warm the cockles of anyones heart after so much time has passed. What would be of interest? I can mention a few things that would interest me, like...
and...

And what if Syria decided to ship them back to Iraq and into 'safe' places like Falujah where Zarkoward and his crew would guard them. He of course couldn't use them or else the jig would be up. But if they could buy enough time by holding these 'holy' cities, the whole scam might have passed. If MSM proof of Syria having Saddam's WMD came to light, even France would have to pretend to be outraged.

There's never going to be "proof" if anything was shipped to Syria.

Nobody is going to invade Syria, and Syria has had plenty of WMDs of their own for decades, making it difficult to distinguish where anything came from, anyway.

It is obvious that this lab is the result of the US invasion and that it was built by the insurgents in response to the US invasion and tyranny.

These poor insurgents were just trying to create some pesticides to grow more food for their starving people at the hands of the US unilateral operation. /Sarcasm>

Nonsense. Karl Rove planted this to be found prior to the election and the wily MSM avoided reporting it. Note that FOX broke the story.

Man I think it's somewhat telling about the situation in America today when we actually HOPE that the enemy has weapons of mass destruction just to discredit the Dems. We fear Democrats more than terrorists with WMD.

Ehhh??? Who here hopes the enemy has WMD???

It's the fact we found them that is good - and we hope that we find all of them. This is not related to politcs, it's related to survival. I'm glad they found them because those weapons can no longer be used on my family, my friends, or my Country.

sheesh

Yep, right along with gas prices around 50 cents a gallon.

This girl is only 21 years old and was told she may not live another year. I can't believe that this information is being suppressed when everything comes out in the news these days. But she has a great attitude and says she would go back to Iraq in a heartbeat if it were up to her.

"But is a chemical weapons lab actually a WMD itself? {/sarcasm}"

Mustard gas dates to before WW-I and nerve gas WW-II. (Phosgene was synthesized by the chemist John Davy (1790-1868) in 1812.) This is not the sort of stuff that many/most US college organic chemistry students couldn't read the recipes and cook up. Safely? I don't know. But it's sure fortunate for us that the Islamofascists are making their youth spend their time memorizing the Quoran and not chemistry textbooks!

Sad that most of our media "opinion makers" didn't bother to take the time and effort to learn how the world works when they were in college!
