12 Tanks are Going Towards Kiev
They are moving North towards Fastiv highway, having already crossed Odessa highway. They are using detour roads. We remind that police forces and the army must defend their people and the President they have chosen --people's President V.Yuschenko.
I hear a smack of Soviet Union. I get a bad feeling it is coming back.
Welcome back to 1956 and 1968!
I have a friend named Olga who lives there..in her emails she always complains about the corruption. Same ole same ole, it seems.
Well, don't be worried... It won't be the Soviet Union...
It'll probably the Mafia Union or the Thugs Union... Or something like that which is less likely to cause alarm in Western Europe, where thugs and the mafia pretty much dictate policy. /sarcasm
Like two peas in a pod.
I notice with the resurgence of Communism and Nazism mixed with radical Islam, anti-Christian and anti-Semitism rises.
The Revolution won't be televised then?
"Here we go..."
Indeed. Pray for God's will for the people of Kiev.
No. Just blogged.
Fastiv highway? Is that named after the upcoming holiday of Fastivus?
Who says you need seventeen United Nations peace keeping resolutions to invade another country?
I wonder who the embeds will be. Has Putan chose any yet?
Putin and his chosen can't lose. This is going to get bloody.
Now they have shifted to another part of the world.

Caution urged in Ukraine
Washington, DC, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- The United States warned its citizens Wednesday against potential civil unrest and disturbances in Ukraine.
There is no resurgence of Communism. This is just cronyism and oligarchy. Communism at least gave people some kind of idealist philosophy to rally around. Though we weren't expecting it just yet, and we've been preoccupied with other things -- even perhaps finding this to be "inconvenient" at this particular time, the Ukraine's velvet revolution is coming.
Probably by All that Jazz.
There was a protest at the Russian Embassy this p.m. in DC.
So Putin has complete control again, plus citizens who now have corruption instead of communism.
They will have to learn that Freedom and democracy are not free.....they take decades to establish.
On another post, someone posted that 5 tv stations have been shut down.
Just another step towards the normalization of a society. The bumps in the road must be felt on unsteady limbs.
Let's hope it is not too awful.
