must be a slow news day
Liberals try to take the fun out of everything.
i knew eating entire pumpkin pies, gunning down entire pitchers of gravy and eating platefuls of Turkey and stuffing would be bad for me LOL but I needed this guy to tell me :)
Once or twice a year is criminal??????? Humbug!
Gave me a laugh. Stay safe!!!
PORK UP My Friends!!!!
Kill-joy.
:-)
Happy Thanksgiving (((((AGYG))))))
welcome....will do
Same here. As long as you exercise it is okay.
I am prepared for the What? You dont like my cooking? Eat! Eat! that I will be getting tomorrow from my daughter. Its been so long since Ive had a regular size meal there is no way I could pig out like in the old days.
Just wanted to wish you and all Freepers a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope you are already at your destination, if you are traveling. Enjoy the turkey!
I just watched a news segment on the dangers of the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner.
How did we ever survive before such enlightenment? We all should have died of food poisoning!
You don't. Thanksgiving, Christmas and your birthday are the three days a year you should pig out and enjoy yourself.
If you watch your diet the other 362 days a year you will have nothing to worry about.
So eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet. (or rather on Saturday)
 So make it 361 days of the year that I watch it.
lol too funny and the info is incorrect, if you pig out all day everyday you've got a problem, however, one day a year pacing yourself won't harm you, geez take the fun out of celebrating why don't you -GD liberals!
Gee! How many FEAST days were given in the Bible?
Guess God never heard of these guys. :-{
An occasional food-based celebration is good for the soul.
I am always moderate on Thanksgiving. It's the day after when I tie into the leftover turkeyomlette, turkeysandwich, turkeycasserole, turkeytoddy, turkeysoup and turkeysalad that I take the hit.
amen.
If you are on your diet on Thanksgiving..you're a mean person.
Amen to that!
I've lost 46 lbs in the last year - down to right weight now. But come the holidays, especially Thanksgiving - it's eat up time...altho' - just about everything BUT pork!
That first Thanksgiving they had roast duck, roast goose, cod, bass and other fish, clams and other shellfish, "wild turkies" and Chief Massasoit sent 5 braves out who brought back 5 deer - so lots of venison, but no pork.
I love pork, but in deference to my ancestors, not on Thanksgiving...
At least we don't carry on for 3 days of feasting, like they did back then! (They also had both red and white wine made from the wild grapes of the area.)
