Gregoire has gained 219 Votes.

Gregoire and the Dems have managed to cheat their way to a very close call. This should be over but the Rats will keep it going until they win. This is what happens when morals don't count and unsigned ballots do.

In 38 of the 39 WA counties, the net vote gain for both G & R was 208 (Kitsap had a gain of 34 votes to G). King County, which is the largest populated county, had 185 votes gained for G. I believe someone on KVI (possibly John Fund) said that this is triple what she should have received, based on the scoring in modern times.

Gregoire is standing b*tchy strong and keeps calling for a recount (of course she's referring to ballots, not votes).

A former SOS of WA State (Bruce Chapman) said that hand counts are more prone to error and fraud (as we all know).

Maria Cantwell's swing was large (they may have said the largest in WA state, not sure) and that was a 276 vote swing.

You look at the swing from all of the other counties and compare it w King (not to mention all the "found" votes and judicial preference/allowance)and King's is very large.

When 43 votes are "found", the Dems will suddenly be satisfied with the results and will immediately cease the re-counts. Have to avoid unnecessary expenses for the taxpayers, doncha know.

Consequently, it would be a good idea to let the 'Rats ask for a partial re-count, limited to King County. They will find enough votes, of course, to put Gregoire in the lead.

Then, though, it will be time to insist that the rest of the state be re-counted by hand -- which is what Washington law demands in the case of the lead switching hands in a partial re-count.

That way, with King County already being counted first, the 'Rats will have already played their hole card. There will be no "holding back" and "finding more votes" as they did in both the original count and the re-count.

And, in the punch card counties (mostly Rossi), he will gain votes with every pass through the machine and examination for hanging chads. New votes "found" in these counties will be in the same proportion as the original count.

There should be enough there to regain the lead -- even after King County "massages" the count once more (unless they do something extraordinarily and obviously fraudulent).

My question is how do they get damaged at all? The voter scanning machines are designed to run the ballots through the scan with the least impact on the ballot as possible. If they get damaged, the machines would also jam. Did we hear of any jammed machines in King County? No we did not. So, when I see on the news dogged eared and mangled ballots, I question, HOW IN THE HELL DOES IT HAPPEN? My only answer is they are damaged intentionally so that they are subject to a hand count which then gets marked as a vote for Gregoire. That my friend is the bottom line, and I will not accept any other explaination. Period. The Demonicrats are using this trick to steal the vote.

The ballots are damaged before they ever get to the machines. I guess you've never worked at a Board of Elections. At least here, provisional and absentee ballots are delivered in envelopes so that the voter can be checked for valid registration before the vote is counted.
When we open those envelopes, we find ballots that have been folded in strange ways, ones that have had coffee or some other substance spilled on them, etc. We don't even try to put them through the machines. The voters mangle the ballots.

In most cases, it's easy for a person looking at the ballot to see who the voter wanted to choose. The question is whether a state wants to count ballots of people who didn't follow directions.
The polling places make it almost impossible to ruin a ballot, so even stupid people can cast a countable vote there. But there are many ways for people who vote absentee or provisionally to mangle their ballots.

All I saw were KOMO TV video of the ballots that were used at the polling sites. It showed them frayed on the edges and not suitable to run through a counting machine. These ballots had to be hand counted.

This is what happens when "nice" (read stupid) Republicans fail to prosecute vote fraud. The 'Rats have nothing to lose by "finding" votes somehow stashed away in toilets, or calling for recount after recount until they manufacture enough votes to steal any close election. It is NOT good enough to get a fraud proof margin - Hello...RNC...are ya listenin'?

Vote fraud is a felony for frik sake - and this is what is guaran-bloody-teed to happen from here on out if the 'Rats pay no price for it. Where the hay is the Justice department on this and the blatant fraud in New Mexico?

I think they must have mischaracterized the ballots. Provisionals are cast at the polling site, but with a different procedure than regular ballots. Absentee ballots are the most likely to get mangled.

I also doubt that they can be fraudulently cast for the Dem, because in almost everyplace, the votes have to be marked by a GOPer and a Dem working as a team. I do have to say that in our county, the vast majority of voter spoiled ballots were cast by Dems. For some reason (I won't guess why), they are less likely to follow directions. :-)
