GOP's Rossi Wins Wash. Governor Recount

Gregoire, 57, was hoping to become the state's second woman governor. She carried eight of the 39 counties, most notably the largest, King, which includes heavily Democratic Seattle. Gregoire was strongly backed by the women's movement and was best known for battling America's tobacco industry.

king county is full of leftists for whom morality is a "relative" thing. They will continue to pull votes out of their collective a$$ until 'Rat Woman is installed by their corrupt lying vote forging lackeys.

They'll "find" another box of ballots in another bathroom - the last one had 85 in it -

now they know how many more they need to :find"

This in-your-face trick is really getting old.

Washington State is run by the Mafia.

Washington State, despite the cover given by the media, is extremely corrupt. There was even on book about Seattle's corruption in the 70s, "On the Take: From Petty Crooks to Presidents."

I think we need to split King County - it's too large and doesn't represent (especially the King County Council and Judges)the voice of all the people living in it. We folks living in the burbs and further out don't want to be subjected to their rulings (such as the last KCC one wrt property rights).

Anyone have any ideas or thoughts about this?

We who live in Washington and are working our b*tts off to change it, and just elected a conservative AG and now the first R Governor in 20 years, would appreciate a little less negativism from you all, and a little more support.

We may need to hit the streets. Can anybody think of a clever way to "Sore/Loserman" Gregoire?

Correction-Gregoire has gained 219 "fraudulent" Votes. Until Rossi is sworn in I can't relax. Even then these people would need to be watched. I know this, if the Dems steal this election we have our '06 candidate against Cantwell. Do they want to risk what happened when their friends cheated Thune out of his win against Johnson? They are already in danger of losing all "red state" Senators, they need to think this through. Sure, Rossi could do a lot of damage to their liberal stranglehold on this state. But we're talking state politics vs national politics. They still hold the majority here in WA. It wouldn't take very many more "R" Senators to give us 60, especially if they come from Liberal states. Plus, look at Florida. Tried to steal that state and this year they said to the Dems, "Go to Hell". Dems are risking possible backlash.

Things are real fishy in King County, bastion of the Demonicrats. These were 941 votes that they said the machines were unable to read because the stupid voter did things like circle their vote instead of filling in the oval with a pen. Who is to say that the vote counters didn't quickly fill in the Gregoire oval before the observers could catch the change. Other ballots they said were too damaged to feed through the counting machines. Who is to say that the ballots were damaged after the first count through the machine and then hand counted again for another vote for Gregoire? I say, if a voter cannot follow the instructions on how to vote, they have lost their chance. I say, if a vote gets damaged, they had better come up with a better way to store the ballots. Having seen them put in bags, the way I saw them as a Republican Party observer opens the way for the pretext of damage so that a vote could be counted twice in the recount effort to manufacture more votes for the Demonicrats.

The Demonicrats are willing to spend money to do hand counts. However, they want to hand count select counties that have higher amounts of Gregoire votes. This cherry picking tactic is designed to capitalize on the margin of error in Demonicrat rich counties. This, Sam Reed, our Republican reelected Secretary of State will most likely forbid. If the Demonicrats want a hand recount, they will have to fork over $700,000+ to hand count the entire state. If they do that, they will take a huge gamble. The money could be better used for such things as the U.S. Senatorial race when Maria Cant(do)well is up for reelection in two years.

My answer for what is a guarantied trip to destruction: Christine Gregoire, CONCEDE!

In my county/state, those votes are counted. We transcribe votes from ballots erroneously filled out, and from ones that look like the "dog ate it", to ballots the machines will count.

I do agree with you that people who are too stupid to follow directions shouldn't have their votes counted.

But I think we should all insist that if these damaged ballots are counted in one county, they have to be counted in all counties. Partial recounts are prejudicial by nature.

To: everyone

Way too much negativity on this thread. More of us should be talking about "hitting the streets." They haven't stolen it yet. Maybe we can still stop them. Let's not wallow in our alienation while there's still a chance.
