or he went and got some concessions from the russians elsewhere in the world, in exchange for taking some heat off in ukraine.
The USSR was an evil empire, however under it, during it, the Russian people did many great things. Have you ever seen the Moscow Circus? It is hailed around the world, and rightly so. If you have seen it, as I have 3 times, you would never go to another circus again. Nothing compares.
How about Rimsky-Korsakov? Ever heard their music? Ever heard the classic, Flight of the Bumblebee? Incredible genuis.
Same with the Ossipov State Orchestra.
They can't just turn their backs on the good things which emerged during an evil empire, because much of it is part of their lives and souls.
It is the equivalent of your child being born under Clinton and you choosing not to celebrate his or her birthday.
My husband and I adopted a child from Russia whose parents were complete losers, but we never say that to her. Can you understand why we don't? They conceived her.
Nothing in the quote suggests that Putin is pro-Lenin, only that he understands those who have difficulty letting go of that time period.
Yes. Because I was over there many times and spoke at length with Russians on the streets. At every opportunity. They all loved him. I spent many days just blocks from the Kremlin stopping women on the streets and asking them questions. I was bored in a small apartment. I used to try behaviors out on them. It was all a huge sociology experiment for me. I did much the same in Rostov-On-Don the following year.
Where did you get the 5% quote? From a chechen website?
Well come here to Washington state and experience life with communists firsthand. There are certainly some left in Russia today, but there are probably more in this state.
I never visited the USSR, so I can't speak about it.
I don't celebrate Bill Clinton's birthday. Does Putin celebrate Lenin's?
Could the Russians at least turn their backs on the bad things that emerged from the USSR? Could they bury Lenin? They could, but they don't want to. That would be admitting that he was wrong.
A few while I was there. I translated one and posted it here after Nord-Ost - link is here
I have read most of them, on his website, as well.
Only if you like the mafia.
My mistake. I misread your post.
That's a lie. You don't know much about the church at all.
>Putin and those KGB guys hate one thing most of all - U.S. >of A.
>That's a lie. You don't know much about the church at all.
Oh, yeah, have you seen goverment controled russian TV specials on how Amrican money founded Chechens? Do you want a link? Go read www.vesti.ru russian goverment TV - see how they cover Iraq, Abu Garib and killing of "innocent iraqi babies"
Why you posting pics of Putin in church????
You know that KGB killed almost every russian priest?
You know man stop it, it's not funny..
Because Putin is an Orthodox Christian and many of those in the pics are Americans.
None of this applies to or has anything to do with Putin.
There are enough sickos in Russia, just as there are here, to keep us all amused.

Putin opened a memorial for General of KGB Andropov and said publicly his is PROUD to be working for him..
Andropov killed 50,000 Americans in Vietnam, created bunch of Arab Terrorists, killed millions of people in russia, millions!!!!!!!!!!
Putin worked as KGB in Germany by recruiting and torturing people of Germany.
Putin run St. Petersburg Mafia, which finnaly got in to Kremlin - everybody in Russia knows that, but when you go to polls you better be voting for Putin or you can kiss your JOB/UNIVERSITY/BUSINESS bye-bye..
Ping
And the people I spoke to in Russia did not fear Putin.
Wishful Chicom thinking is the most likely explanation for this article. For if the US takes a robust stance against the KGB Mafiya, then we may also be expected to stop kowtowing to Beijing. Now here's something bizarre. There is now, effectively, a de facto "alliance" between the Putin cheerleader squad here in the US, the pro Putin forces in Russia and other nearby countries, and, the PRC. In the PRC, they love Putin. That raaises a big old red flag for me.
