No prob...
I don't remember where I 'stole' it from. But it's a great pic.
.
On September 2, 2004...
...President BUSH repeated his Freedom Pledge to the rest of the World during his Republican Convention Acceptance Speech in New York City...
...when he correctly declared...
...our new 21st Century...
..'The LIBERTY Century'
One way or a t'other..!!!
.
-um...what's a meta-troll?
and what type of bizarro prank would that be, even for a DUmmie?
WAIT!!! I think he's a META-TROLL. He's just posting articles with misleading titles so that people will ZOT an otherwise sensible article, then he's running back to tell his buddies at DU!
META-ZOT HIM!
;-)
He had nothing to do with 9/11.
He had much to do with terrorism.
That's the difference.
He promised WHAT????
Um...OK, how the HELL does he think he's going to pull that off?
I think we've got our hands full over the next four years as it is. I honor and respect the fact that we've got the best military ever assembled, but I can't imagine how we're going to liberate the middle east + 3 other countries in four more years.
You're in the military. Can you???
Whether possible or not, we better make a darn good effort in that direction. There are some really dedicated individuals disguised as holy men preaching hate and damnation against US and Israel.
Something must be done. And head in the sand doesn't come to mind...

Can you imagine that we will have any trouble with Iran, for instance? Right now world nations are only in preliminary discussions about our problems with their weapons programs. Im betting that the moment Bush says drop your weapons or else, theyre going to drop their weapons. Why? Because theyre going to believe Bush means business. Why? Because of our action in Iraq. Ultimately, this war will save near innumerable lives.

Well, I hope I won't come off like a liberal who tells a military person what's REALLY going on even though...well, I'm here in the states.
BUT
It seems to me that the first two are on the right track, and could be free with a lot of work and a little luck.
Or not.
I don't think the game is over in either case. Nor do I think these are examples of true democracies...yet.
Dunno, man, but this strikes me as a loooong hard road. I'm a little taken aback by the fact that someone who serves believes it can be done in 4 years. I mean, man, this Iraq thing probably won't be over for a while. I'd be happy if that becomes a free, safe, stable country.
.
Congratulations,
...for you have just exemplified...
..The BUSH Doctrine in Action.
GOD is GOOD
BUSH is RIGHT..!!!
.
I must admit..I'm lazy and won't read the whole thing many times, but even w/ questionable titles...I'll at least scroll down to peer at the commentary and get a gist of what's going on. I let others step into the "false alarm zot traps" for me...lol.

Actually, I was a Soldier Once and Young:

Stay tuned, for CRONKITE, RATHER and BROKAW are soon to be History and the American People can now get straight news for themselves, despite these TV Liars, thru an Internet, Conservative Talk Radio and the FoX News Channel that we Vietnam Vets didn't have to fight for CLARITY with upon our return home long, long ago.
And the outside world knows it.

Very good article. In fact, I am bookmarking this one.
It makes good points for those that don't yet get it.
Welcome to FR!
Tammy
I wouldn't expect the civilians to get them. My meaning was that it would be better for the sake of the civilians for us to get Abu Musab Al Zarqawi and for us to get his top people as soon as possible.
I'm all in favor of sending his pine box back to Palestine in short order, I just think it ought to be done in a mass mailing:)
A Bump is bumping a thread to the top. (It's a good thing)
Thanks!:)
