The sad thing is that Rather could have been a fine journalist if he'd not become dazzled by the compliments he received on the cocktail circuit (Be an agent for change, Mr. Rather!) I don't like psychobabble, but the term "messiah complex" comes to mind whenever I post a quick note about the alphabet channel socialists.
