Why does Kerry want to run? Didn't he do enough damage?

If he chooses Breck Girl again, he could save alot of money on all the buttons and stickers left over from this time around.

Not going to happen. Kerry's Senate seat would then be up for grabs, as currently he cannot run for both offices simultaneously in this State.
On the other hand, the Massachusetts Legislature made changes to election law a few months ago which prohibited our Republican Governor from appointing a Senator in the case of an anticipated vacancy caused by a Kerry win. It was a shameless exercise of their clout, and it was ultimately to no avail in the end.

Kerry lost with the wind of "hate Bush" at his back. That won't be there in 2008. He doesn't have a prayer of getting the nomination. Neither does Hillary. The DemocRATs will think long and hard about nominating a liberal senator from the Northeast for generations.

Last week, Kerry contacted nearly every elected member of the House Democratic leadership, and other powerful lawmakers, on behalf of Gov. Tom Vilsack of Iowa. On Monday, Vilsack issued a statement that he was no longer pursuing the chairmanship. Heh, heh... Vilsack must have interpreted Kerry's endorsement as the kiss of death.

Guess Kerry didn't get the memo: Lose once, and you're gone.
The Democrat establishment has been very consistent on this point. Besides, with Hillary gearing up, Kerry would want to stay far away from planes, trains, automobiles, restaurants, bathtubs, etc.
He's toast already, just doesn't get it yet. If he makes the right decisions going forward, he may still live to enjoy his allowance from his "rather testy" wife.

It will be some time before Kerry can admit defeat to himself, assuming he ever does.
He is repeating the same line of reasoning he followed when he lost his first election attempt.
He went headlong into a depression, according to reports, and then emerged angry and motivated.
I suspect he will do the same again in order to keep from staying depressed. But, he will soon discover that his chances are about the same as Dan Rather becoming the Anchor at CBS again.

When I got kerry's e-mail the other day, I thought that the guy must be delusional. He actually thinks that people were voting for him instead of voting against the Prez. I wish someone in his party would be nice enough to set him straight about that so he can stop embarrassing himself.

Kerry doesn't have the energy to campaign for 4 years, he'll quit this nonsense in 6 months.
