What I want to know is whether it is true that Arnold Schwarzenegger had or still has dual citizenship in Austria. I have mixed feelings about opening up the presidency to a naturalized long-term citizen but I am absolutely opposed to letting anyone with dual citizenship anywhere near the presidency of the United States.

my guess is that he does. most countries allow it, or at least don't forbid it. He would likely have had to renounce his Austrian Citizenship in the presence of an offical of the Republic of Austria and go thru a process to renounce his citizenship of Austria, very unlikely in my opinion. Likely he just let his passport expire and that legally he's still a citizen of the land of his birth.
