sounds to me like some bush supporters were being DISENFRANCHISED on election day. I voted provisional in PA and it was never counted.

Not quite what the demo's expected is it?
Heck: Not quite what I expected either!
Do we know how many prov. ballots have been counted, vice the total (136,000 some odd) that were received?
See, if 50% of the 136,000 total ballots have been counted, then only 32,000 some-odd of the 68,000 provisionals counted so far were "valid".
This would imply a 50% FRAUD rate among provisionals! Each "BAD" provisional ballot was submitted "wrongly" (not necessarily fraudulently of course = people do make honest mistakes) roughly half the time.
Obviously, submitting 136,000 false provisional ballots, in the hope of getting just 538 "extra" democrat ballots that somehow DO PASS after the election would have ensured Gore's election in FL in 2000.
