I stopped watching Jeopardy moths ago. I couldn't stand the arrogance of Ken Jennings!
How exactly has he demonstrated arrogance?
Yeah, he's good but he is also a fast "clicker." My daughter was on the winning Academic League (High School Jeopardy with harder questions!!). She pressed the button fast and got the first chance to answer the question. That's what a lot of it comes down to, who presses the button first.
If you press the button before Alex finishes asking the question, you get locked out for a couple of seconds. It isn't simply a matter of pressing the button fast, but of pressing it at the right time. Before you stopped watching, you may have noticed that Jennings doesn't get many answers wrong. That's because he doesn't just blindly press his button and risk losing money by not being able to answer correctly. He's a smart guy and has earned a lot of money using his intelligence, and he seems to be a nice guy as well. It's too bad some people feel threatened by that.

How the heck would I feel threatened by Jennings?!
I don't know him, he doesn't interact with me, he's on TV for goodness sake!
He does "click" a split second before the others. There is no doubt about that.
Why the need to jump to his defense?
