I care and I'm sure many others care as well. There's a big difference between amnesty and guest work program. Some Americans,it's true have been dumbed down but not all.There are still those of us who can read and UNDERSTANDthe difference.

If you keep saying that, it may eventually be true. And if you actually buy the well worn promise of enforcement "later" in exchange for amnesty now...well I've got a bridge...

Making illegal people legal is amnesty. Putting a "temporary worker program" label on it doesn't make it any less of an amnesty.

One thing you can take to the bank: There will be nothing temporary about this program. Illegal aliens getting "temporary" cards from Bush will never be forced to leave the USA. After all, who's ever going to make them leave? Bush? (LOL) His successor? (not likely). No, unless a Bush-amnestied illegal becomes a felon, he or she is here for good.
