Cinnamon Stillwell is a wonderful Freeper. So is her mother (the person who gave her the name). She is a 9-11 conservative, a young lady who "saw the light" that day. She puts her money where her mouth is, writing articles for ChronWatch (the anti-Chronicle), and helping organize and attend counter-marches and demonstrations in the ultra-liberal San Francisco Bay Area. This is her first article (far as I know) in a national publication. She should be congratulated.

Fashion influences the naming of children just as it does dress and other parts of life. Just ask any Brian or Jennifer! Or Brittany. Or Megan. Or Lindsay. They pass through the years ever identified with the time in which they were born; sometimes identified with specific stage or screen personalities, or (as in this case) popular songs. I guess her mother liked Neil Young way back when...

Think about it, is Cinnamon any worse than Edna or Maude, for example? Those names were thought beautiful 100 years ago.

In short, Cinnamon is a lovely girl. Give her a break!

Thanks. I didn't even know that when I posted the article.
