Thanks. I didn't even know that when I posted the article.
Indeed there are. But they are not supported by- in fact commanded- by their 'scripture'.
There have always been evil people of other religions- as ABERRATIONS.
Islam worships, demands, and commands its followers to do evil to each other-and 'infidels'.
In Islam- the institution itself, the scripture, is corrupt. 'Decent' Muslims are the aberrations.
No, but an olive tree can bear bad fruit, in which case it is good for nothing save to be cast in the fire and burned (and I'm not talking about Islam).
Most of the radical Islamic teachings come from the Haddith, not the Koran. Be careful about getting into a scriptural cherry picking contest. The Old Testament is a prime field, ripe for plucking.
A: One who's run out of ammo.
Your jest is close to the truth. As we kick butt in Iraq, there will be more and more "moderate" muslims coming forward. Muslims are not radical or moderate by nature, most are simply waiting to see who is riding the strongest horse. As it appears, an unrestrained US Military is the strongest horse and if it continues, we will see more and more "moderation" in our enemies. Maybe enough so that radical islam goes back into hiding for a generation of two.
