The biggest hole in all of this (well, aside from the one in the husband) is that he's not around to tell his side of the story.. The sole person left is the one who committed murder, and has apparently had more than a bit of time to come up with an appropriate explanation.

We have police and courts for good reason; I'm all for self defense, but the self defense explanation ends when you can easily pick up the phone and call the cops. Yeah, if hubby came after her once she picked up the phone, drop the bastard in his tracks.
