Do I understand that most of the posters on this thread think it is ok to murder a man who threatened non-humans but would require more restraint regarding a man that threatened another human? If so why?

Not me, Dude! Pushing and threatening warrent being left for the pig (sorry, animal worshipers) that he is. He doesn't deserve to die. He just deserves to be alone. Animals do not have rights. God put them here for our use, and we as good stewards must use them and treat them with dignity and respect. (Rush's word's, not mine.)

I dont believe it. I have noticed lately that many freepers seem to be "losing it" or maybe we have just been infiltrated by DU.

I dont care if he threatened to shoot the dam animals or not. Being murdered is not suitable punishment for threatning to kill a animal.

It's just my opinion, but I believe that nearly all the posters think there was much more to the husband's previous behavior than these particular threats to the pets.

Just a guess.

Seems like that. IMHO, anyone who threatens to hurt or kill (or actually does hurt or kill) a defenseless animal (ALL animals are defenseless if compared to a human being, if for nothing else, because humans are supposed to reason and animals allegedly do not)is lacking something inside. Serial killers usually start torturing and killing animals and then they move on to do the same with humans.
Humans sometimes kill and torture for a so-called pleasure, animals kill for food, territory or the preservation of the species.
Humans abort their babies, and sometimes kill them after they are born. Animals kill to protect their babies.
A dog will give you unconditional love and loyalty, will not betray you, will stick with you even if you beat him or starve him of treat him like sh... a human being will drop you like a hot potato in similar circumntances.

I'm not saying that. I'd fire to protect another human if I thought it was necessary.

Speaking for myself only . . . if you threaten (say) me or Xena's Guy, we can take steps to defend ourselves. If you threaten the Dread Boston Salty, he will stare at you like you're reading Rousseau aloud.

That's why you are welcome to attempt to screw with me at any time, but mess with my babies at your peril.
