Ok,here's a question - I don't know if I'll need it here, but, I've been wanting to use it on my website: Let's say I have an image such as a little animated GIF that needs a black background to look good, and I want to place it in the middle of a body of text with a light or white background (like FR). For example, this first gif of a B5 Starfury has a black bacground, but a very small one, so it looks a little goofy on a light color background (page).
But for a better example, the astronaut below would look a lot better on a black background:
It looks better where I found it:

(This guy has a ton of useful free gifs, although a few are in questionable taste...)
I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for is called: Maybe a "sub-body background"?

Boy, that was a lousy last sentence. Reworded:

Sorry Paul; That is out of my league. Hope some one else will jump in and help you out.

I want to place it in the middle of a body of text with a light or white background The easiest way to do that would be to place it inside a a TABLE with a black background like this:
Here is the code that I used:
<table bgcolor=black cellspacing=5 cellpadding=5 width=400 height=400 border=0>
<tr>
<td align=center>
<img src="http://www.mikesfreegifs.com/main4/alien/shuttle2as.gif" width=300 height=240>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
This is a basic 1 cell table, but you can add as many cells as you'd like. Here's a good tutorial.
