Thank you
What is an "insurgent?" Is that the same thing as an "enemy?"
Thank you
Really?!? I didn't know that. Fox blanked out that part of the tape completly.
If I were covering someone that I thought was getting ready to come out with a gun or roll a hand grenade out, I might pull the trigger when he moved too.
One thing is sure. The media is still working overtime trashing the United States and the Marines in Iraq in particular. The media is anti-american, every one of them.
On another thread entitled "Insuregents faking dead fires on Marines", Freeper, JeeperFreeper coined the term
"The Sites Manuever".
The aptly named manuever is named after Kevin Sites, the reporter that has encouraged terrorists to play dead and then shoot at our servicemen.
In the particular article the insurgent was shot and killed, or men unhurt.
Bill took an immediate position on this and it was in favor of the soldier.
That's so different than what he was doing during the campaign season where he was hyper-cautious about everything. He wanted too much to be covered from every angle. In other words, he was playing CYOA. He was probably doing it so he wouldn't wreck his chances to get interviews.
But, he didn't raise his finger to check the wind on this one.
Good for him.
Maybe he found his lost cajones.
I blogged an incident where a group of reporters knew where an IED was and sat there w/ their cameras until the US Army drove by and then ran footage of the ambush. The creeps will stop an nothing.
