In order to pursue the action, there must be and alledged tort. What tort or damages does the plaintiff plead? How much are they demanding? What are his proofs or evidentuary material put forth. I have been the object of a lawsuit before and I know exactly how debilitating it can be to a person, his wife, his family, his perception of the future for himself and his children. To the lawyer, it is just a day at the office. To the defendant, it is your life.
