The question one should ask, is what is and has the uN done for America? Answer: Nothing, except cost us taxpayers. It was originally the League of Nations and Algier Hiss a communist/ one of FDR's was instrumental in getting us in this POS anti-american organization. Why keep the fox in the hen house when your chickens keep on disappearing. Who cares what the the rest of the world thinks, if not for us they would be running around in loin cloths and eating grubs. (F) the UN and it's unamerican sympathizers. NSNR.
We just send a building inspector to find a clogged toilet and then we can condemn and raze the building.
It is broken, corrupt, and anti-American? Of course. But moving it to another country would give that other country increased prestige. There's some benefit in diplomats and staff from pissant third world countries coming to America where they see what a superpower looks like.
We need to drastically reform the UN, no question about it. But kicking it out of the US won't accomplish that.
But kicking it out of the US won't accomplish that.
In a NYC minute the corruption on our soil perpetrated by third world despots, propped up by US cold hard cash with a worldwide yearning to control a superpower(us) would be hard pressed to continue. Step two would be to end our participation in the farce.
So YES, it will accomplish that!
Is there any doubt that Israel would be subject to sanctions and embargos if we were not actively reigning in the UN?
BTTT
The bigger picture is simply this - The UN cannot exist without the USA's safety blanket of cash, power and prestege. They would simply dissolve.
Economic sanctions worked real well against Iraq didn't they?

Reigning in the UN? Sounds great, when do we start?
Thanks for the Ping!
Done
Not that easy I think. They are "diplomats" so I don't think they do not have to obey our laws.... the way normal people or businesses do.
Ummm....we could always bulldoze the building with the diplomats in them. :)
