While I agree it's over the top and certainly shows a lack of compassion and understanding, I believe the best way to handle this is to ignore her.
If you feel she has personally attacked you, I would hope you go to the offending post and hit the Abuse button.
I'm new here and would like to stay here. I don't want to hit abuse either. So I am taking your advice and ignoring her.
