The theory of multiculturalism holds that no culture is superior to any other culture. As long as people practice tolerance, this theory goes, different cultures can live together side by side. But what if intolerance itself is part of one of the cultures?
That question has been answered for all eternity by a young citizen of Holland by the name of Mohammed Bouyeri. Bouyeri is a 26-year-old native of Holland who is of Moroccan descent. He is of the Muslim faith. The strict interpretation of that faith holds that those who say certain things that offend the faithful must be killed. So on the morning of Nov. 2, Bouyeri armed himself with a gun and a knife and set out through the streets of Amsterdam to track down a man who had said such things.

At the same time, Theo van Gogh was bicycling through the streets of that most liberal city on Earth, home to hashish houses and legalized prostitution. Van Gogh, a distant relative of the painter of that surname, is a filmmaker. One of his recent films illustrated the way in which women are treated in the Muslim world. Various imams in Holland's Muslim community had criticized the film and called for its makers to be killed.
The 26-year-old Bouyeri intercepted van Gogh along his route, the police later reported. He shot him six times. He then slit his throat, nearly beheading him. Bouyeri then used the knife to pin a note to van Gogh's chest. The note contained threats to kill several other Dutch political figures who had been critical of the Muslim community.
The assassination set off waves of violence in normally placid Holland. Mosques were firebombed. Churches were firebombed in return.

In actual practice, multiculturalism teaches that Western culture is irredemiably evil, while the most abominable behavior and attitudes in non-Western cultures are minimized, excused or ignored.
I'm glad you noted the inherent flaw of multiculturalism -- if all cultures are equal, that means all moral values are equal and all individuals are equal. In other words, Mother Teresa was no better a person than Adolf Hitler.
Yes --- the USA version holds that all other cultures especially third world cultures are superior to American culture. All other religions are superior to Judaism and Christianity. All other languages are better than English.
But for some strange reason --- feminists side with Islam because they also share the goal of the destruction of Judeo-Christian values and of the culture of the west.

We cannot permit Muslims to control France's nuclear weapons, which will be the reality in a generation or two if nothing changes.
In fact, if anything like Western civilization is to endure, the countries of Europe will have to expel all their Muslim population, even the native-born. And any Muslim nation that develops nuclear weapons must be destroyed. We will have to offer Pakistan the nuclear ultimatum sooner or later, and Iran shortly after.

I believe you show great maturity in your post and are indeed correct.
It is a characteristic of Islam that its adherents are trapped in the 6th century and accordingly seem to be imprisoned in a kind of immaturity.
They have no love of truth, no love of fellow man or nature or peace, they only know hatred and violence.
Islam is an anti-cultural force. It is against humans (even Muslims).
I won't say what I think it is, but you and I both know its origins.
What else would have those characteristics?

The moderate majority of Muslims have remained silent for too long. They have allowed the wacko religious radicals to ruin their religion.
