And, as I've stated, my opinion is that any attempt to forcefully separate a visiting head of state from his own security detail goes beyond ego.
You have a good point, and since the US is the only country that doesn't defer the protection of its head of state to the visiting country, this can't be interpreted as anything other than a slap at the USA.

Also, I am not sure if anyone saw this (and I doubt that because Freepers are sharp tacks!) but the Chilean Security did NOT move to block the door for after Head's of State entered the builing.
If that isn't a slap, I don't know what is.
