Pass out the tinfoil if you like, but I don't think it's ever a good thing when someone tries to separate the President from his bodyguards. Some thought it might be machismo, and it might have been, but I wondered at the time. Now this--I just really want him home. It might be nothing, but there sure is a lot of odd behavior down in Chile.

but there sure is a lot of odd behavior down in Chile. The White House is playing this down to minimize diplomatic embarrassment. But an entire state dinner was canceled.
That doesn't happen on a whim. There's a lot more going on than we know.

It's not hard to enter Chili from other countries like Argentina, Paraguay, etc. I have read some articles about terrorists being at liberty throughout Paraguay, with freedom of movement.
I say that President Bush should dictate his security, or say his good-by's by phone, from Air Force One.
A bunch of bad people roam around in SA.

I say that our Secret Service must protect the President 24-7.
You don't know who could get to him without protection.
I hope he comes home soon.

We're supposed to trust a Communist 3rd - world fruit growing nation with the security of the POTUS?
