I get uneasy when he's off American soil.
See, that's the thing ... I don't get uneasy.
Maybe I'm just a little jumpy this week with the JFK anniversary coming up (presidential assassination is obviously on my mind), but the lax (intentionally lax?) security in Chile is making me mucho nervous.

In this day and age, someone like GWB shouldn't be taking too many chances. Half this country didn't even vote for him and got energized to the polls on hatred against the president. That hatred is worldwide. I don't blame President Bush intervening through the crowd to get the USSS up closer to him yesterday.

The fact that the President is in South America with these little shenanigans occuring unfortunately reminds me of that scene in "Clear and Present Danger" when the U.S. motorcade carrying FBI and other American officials is ambushed and attacked from the rooftops. Not a good image.
