Don't know where wedding rings are worn in SA.

But if he has the ring on his Left hand...that goes along with my (far too slowly arriving) insight that yellow lanyard guy just may be USSS. (The wires may have gotten it right!)

I found one website that indicated the custom in Chile is to wear the engagement ring on the right hands, then switch to the left during la boda.
