Thanks for posting this.

Something is way wrong with this situation. All the details on these events are worked out way ahead, everybody knows what everybody is supposed to do. And I don't believe for one second on this planet that the Secret Service would agree ahead of time that the President and First Lady would not have an agent immediately at hand. I don't know what stunt the Chilean guards were trying to pull but I'm real glad President Bush didn't put up with this nonsense.

Do you think its conceivable that there was a plot on Bush's life? This is one of two incidents that occurred there. First, they tried to get Bush alone without his security guards, and then they try to have a state dinner without using metal detectors. It just sounds fishy -- like they're trying to leave Bush vulnerable.
