All of them. This is not even a list of particularly esoteric words. Thirty years ago you would find them used regularly in all sorts of books and occasionally in the newspaper. As the vocabularly of the English language continues to increase, the practical vocabulary of public school educated Americans decreases and writers write for a population with an ever contracting ability to read.
