No. I'm not. And my reading and comprehension skills are excellent as well. They are much more important in this medium than my hearing.

This statement "If you don't know how to shut it off, go outside and introduce it to the heel of your shoe." means that "I THOUGHT I DID TURN IT OFF" is not an acceptable excuse.

That still doesn't excuse him giving her three weeks. I can understand making her give him her phone, and litterally crushing it with his foot. That is probabley what I would have done, but to sentence her to three weeks is just unacceptable.
